SPONSOR A SCHOOL OR A CHILD AT SCHOOL

For a small sum you could be making a big difference to a persons life. Take one small child in the developing world. He or she starts off life with a major handicap, that is poverty. A lot of countries make a charge for education, but even if it is a small one charge, this can be a big problem for a family.

The problem is not only the education fees. This is only part of the problem The parent may not be able to afford the cost of meals while the child is at school. They may not be able to afford the cost of a pair of shoes to send the child to school. They may not be able to afford the cost of clothing and uniforms for the child's attendance at the School. These are all things we take for granted in the UK.

You have the means of helping without it costing you a penny. Just using Quick-Shop on this site for your shopping will mean a small amount gets donated to this project.

If you want to help a little more then make a donation. £20 per month would help educate a child and you would be responsible for giving someone a good start in life. Give what you can afford or even more.

We are in communication with a number of schools that are really short of basic materials. Books, and basic educational equipment will be required for these projects. Computers that you are about to throw out would be very useful in this context. Contact us if you are able to help by donating your old equipment. With your help we can make a difference.
